The bag limit and the coat check
A day bag inside 8 by 17 by 19 inches goes through screening with its owner. Anything larger is checked. The guided walks that include the museum say the same, and the small-group walk lists luggage and large bags as not included. The security line can take a while at midday; the arrival page allows for it.
What is prohibited
Alcohol, weapons, glass bottles, paint and marking instruments, noise-making devices, rope or wire, controlled substances, and anything staff deem inappropriate, on the whole property. Food and drink are consumed only in the café. The rules page has the full list with the photography rule.
